From the outside, your ambition appears to be translating into reality just fine. You’ve got the salary, the title, the track record. People have told you more than once, "you’re killing it!”
But inside, it’s a different story.
You feel restless. There’s a persistent lack of fulfillment and purpose that you can't quite explain, even to yourself. All you know is that you're capable of more. But what that looks like, exactly… well, that's the part you can't see.
From there, the milestones kept arriving and the dominoes kept falling. What a time!
For the first decade, the work chose you: one opportunity opened the next. All you had to do was point that incredible ambition of yours at anything exciting and go.
Maybe you've had kids, or you're thinking about it.
Maybe you've reached the title you once thought was the ceiling.
Maybe your dream job turned out to be more like an absolute nightmare….
Either way – the things that used to excite you no longer did, and the next step up wasn't taking you anywhere you actually wanted
to be.
So now the milestones don’t arrive on schedule. Roles don't keep pace with how much you've grown.
And the ambition that's been powering you forward for 10… 15… even 20 years suddenly has nowhere to go.

Opportunities still
come knocking but
nothing feels right
You've talked it through with your partner, your friends... but they can't quite relate.
So you keep going round in circles with your own thoughts, and landing back where you started.
For a woman who has always had a goal and always had a plan, that question is terrifying. Because for the first time, there is no plan.
You don't know what comes next. You just know it isn't this. I get that that’s a scary place to be — I’ve been there exactly where you’re standing.

It’s simply evolved. Because you have evolved.
That’s why the things that used to fulfil you no longer do.
And it’s why this crossroads you’re at feels like an obnoxious cocktail of ‘identity crisis’ meets ‘a crisis of confidence’.
But it’s not really either.
It’s the end of one chapter of your life, and the start of the next one: the one where you stop letting the work choose you, and start choosing for yourself.
Your ambition hasn't gone anywhere.
Your ambition hasn't gone anywhere.
Your drive was never the problem. What's been missing is a direction worth pointing your ambition to from here— and someone beside you who can guide you along the way.
That's where I come in.
Raw ambition got you here. Refined ambition gets
you there.
Well, I reached that goal when I was 27. And by the time I was 30, I was managing director. By every external measure, I was succeeding. But none of it felt like the thing I was born to do.
Years later, after a string of career moves that looked sensible on paper (but felt chaotic AF), I found myself back in another shiny MD role. That title and company should’ve been my happy ending.
When I was little, my biggest ambition was to become an account director (Young Kat sure knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go get it!).

Years later, after a string of career moves that looked sensible on paper (but felt chaotic AF), I found myself back in another shiny MD role. That title and company should’ve been my happy ending.
Instead, my low point arrived dressed as the high point.
Nearly a year in, the owner sat me down: KPIs smashed, equity on offer, keys to the whole thing. And sitting in that conversation — the one I'd spent twenty years climbing toward — I started questioning everything.
Because I finally saw what I'd been too busy to see: I hadn't really chosen any of it. For two decades, the work had been choosing me.
What finally shifted everything for me wasn't more advice,
or another opportunity
In other words: I took my raw ambition and I refined it.
The method I needed didn't land in my lap. So I built it and tested it on my own life first. And now I teach it to women who are exactly where I was.
It was treating the question the way I'd treat any brief worth taking seriously: with actual structure.
For 20 years, I'd been the person businesses brought in to do exactly this: define the vision, set the strategy, sharpen the positioning and follow through.
I'd just never once thought to do it for myself.
So I did. And within weeks:
When I was little, my biggest ambition was to become an account director (Young Kat sure knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go get it!).
When I was little, my biggest ambition was to become an account director (Young Kat sure knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go get it!).
Every "maybe I could..." that's been running in the background (on your walks, in the shower, at 11pm) finally gets out of your head and into a framework or tool you’ll actually use. You'll make more real decisions in 10 weeks than you have in the last two years.
The skills you've always written off as ‘intangible’ articulated as your unique value proposition so you can walk into any interview, negotiation or difficult conversation and own the room.
To the roles that look great on paper but miss your core must-haves, because you'll know exactly what you're holding out for, and trust the plan that’s in motion to make it happen.
Not the next logical rung. A direction that fuels you and the momentum to already be moving on it before our 10 weeks are up.
You don't need to know exactly what you want yet. That's what this program is for. You'll leave with it named, mapped, and broken into concrete actions so it feels inevitable instead of impossible.
See how it works
It honestly feels even better than what I had hoped for
A few opportunities came up that looked great on paper, but some core must-haves were missing — and I know that I wouldn't have had the confidence to turn them down before doing that work with you. This role genuinely feels like a clear stepping stone towards the dream life we mapped out together. It honestly feels even better than what I had hoped for.
I needed a Plan B.
No, I needed a Plan.
My agency had been taken over by a gigantic consulting group, and it felt like Mordor. I was struggling to work out who I was: my vastly redefined goals, my identity, what I wanted and whether it was the place for me.
I needed a Plan B. No, I needed a Plan. Before working with Kat, I’d talked through my challenges with loads of people, but I wanted practical tips and strategies.
I needed to translate the dream for something different into hard actions…and I wanted a step ladder to do it. Working with Kat helped me do exactly that. It helped me pin down and give structure to fleeting thoughts.
Immediately, it felt like having a buddy on my side, cheering me on. It gave me a bigger plan, and everything suddenly felt more doable.
Here's the truth: without the right support and accountability in place, you're relying solely on your own motivation, your own direction, your own guide.
Which means you'll go around in circles for a long time… and still not end up where you want to be.
You'll settle for less than you deserve.
And you already have evidence of this. You've been taking job after job without really knowing what it means to the bigger picture.
Without the right support, what you're missing most is an external perspective — one that comes free of your own bias. Someone in your corner who believes you're capable of great things, before you've fully let yourself believe it. That’s what Refined Ambition offers you.
So yes, it's an investment. And the best time to make it isn't after months of going around in circles, questioning everything, losing confidence. It's now.
Refined Ambition runs on The Refined Ambition Method™, my signature three-stage framework. It's built on something I've proven with every woman I've coached: the structure is what sets you free. We take what feels lofty and overwhelming, and chunk it down into powerful tools across each stage.

This isn't 'what's your next role?' It's 'what's the life you're building, and what part does work play in it?’
You'll conceptualise your next chapter in three dimensions — the work, yes, but also the life around it: what's worthy of your time, what matters most (and what matters less than you've been pretending), and what you'd go after if you stopped waiting for permission.
This is where you get to be visionary about your own vision — most likely for the first time ever.
01
Define
02
A vision without a plan is just a nice dream. So we map yours across Now, Next and Future — the next 12–18 months, the two-to-three-year move, and the three-to-five-year destination — and trace the path backwards, so you know exactly what now is for.
This is what frees you from that all-or-nothing holding-pattern ("I can't start my own thing, so I guess I'll just coast").
Every stage of your plan earns its place in the bigger picture — which means every workday gets a purpose, even in a role you've outgrown.
Design
Here's the uncomfortable truth about every vision you've ever had: the gap between knowing and doing is where ambition gets swallowed into ‘one day’.
Not this time.
‘DELIVER’ is the stage where follow-through gets built in. It’s where you develop the skills to back yourself in any room (negotiating, self-advocating, saying no like you mean it), build the visibility that brings opportunities to your door, with accountability to keep you moving long after the initial buzz wears off.
You'll borrow my belief in you until yours catches up. I won't let you off the hook — in the nicest possible way. And the best part? By the end, you won't need me to.
03
Deliver
The Method unfolds across five live 90-minute sessions, one a fortnight. This allows for enough room between them to actually do something with what you've uncovered and keeps them at a pace where you won’t
lose steam.
I’ve coached enough women who stood exactly where you are to know what's actually standing between you and your next chapter.
It’s got nothing to do with anything ‘lacking’ on your behalf.
I repeat: it’s not because of a lack of talent — you know you’ve got that in spades. It’s not even a confidence issue, not at the root. It's a handful of very predictable reasons, and the program solves them one at a time, in the order they need solving.

Working with Kat provided me with some wonderfully practical models and frameworks that I’ve applied in my life
I felt so motivated in my work and personal life once I implemented these models. The ‘Life Pie’ exercise was extremely helpful in understanding my ‘balance’. It gave me perspective on things.
The strengths assessment was a very useful exercise in understanding how I work and how I’m perceived in the workplace. It provided a non-biased framework to ‘measure’ my progress with, or to understand my starting point.
It was so valuable establishing a Unique Value Proposition and my 2026 Vision Statement - I really enjoyed these exercises and have reviewed many of my 2026 goals since then. I can already see how and where I’m meeting these, which has been so encouraging.
I got so much value from the Unique Value Proposition work to help pitch myself in an interview - I loved how this is framed and working through the Venn diagram is a great approach.

Also, the pre-session survey exercises around the 3-5 year vision and goals were eye opening experiences for me and I can see how they underpin everything.

KAT'S MY TRUSTED RIGHT HAND
Our check-ins between sessions have been just as valuable as the sessions themselves, keeping me focused, motivated and confident.
Pricing includes GST. Payment plans available.
Refine your ambition with my undivided attention
Five 60-minute 1:1 sessions built around your situation and whatever's come up since we last spoke. The right choice if your situation is complex, your goals are specific, or you want the full focus of someone in your corner.
Refine your ambition alongside women like you, doing the same
You and 4–6 ambitious women at your level, navigating different versions of the same thing. Every session is facilitated by me and built around the group's real situations, with plenty of room for yours. This is the right choice for you if you want expert guidance and the energy and support of women who get it.
By the end of our 10 weeks, you'll have made real decisions. You'll know your next move, and be building toward it.
But what changes, and when, is yours to decide.
Some women use the 10 weeks to plan an exit. Others use it to make their current role work harder for them while the bigger move takes shape.
Either way: no cliff edge, no forced leap. Just a plan you're finally moving on, at a pace you’ve strategically chosen.
Ultimately I figured, ‘Jeez... if I don't invest in me now at my age and stage what the hell am
I doing anyway?’
Before investing in this coaching it felt like a lot of cash, if I'm honest. I've had therapy in short periods in my life and the idea of a talking service feels like an indulgence. I found it hard to justify to myself. “What am I getting out of it?”
But the moment we started working together, I just found it so useful. It was like I had a buddy on my side cheering me on. It made work feel more doable. I had a bigger plan and someone was cheering me on the sidelines.

How much time does this require from me each week?
How much time does this require from me each week?
The live sessions happen once a fortnight. If you’re joining me in The Collective, each session is 90 minutes, and if we’re working 1:1 in The Mentorship, we’ll meet for 60 minutes.
Between sessions, you’ll have exercises and practical actions designed to move your thinking forward.
As a guide, allow 60-90 minutes during the weeks outside the live sessions.
This isn’t busywork for the sake of making the program feel substantial. Everything you do between sessions feeds directly into the vision, plan and positioning you’re building.
What's your refund policy?
What's your refund policy?
You can get a full refund any time before Session 1 starts.
Once Session 1 begins, there are no refunds. At that point the group is locked — I can't bring someone new in partway through, which means a refund isn't just about you, it's a spot that can't be filled and a dynamic the rest of the group has already started building around. So once we start, everyone's in.
Good! That’s not something you’re meant to have figured out before joining.
In fact, working out what you genuinely want is one of the first things we do.
You may know exactly what you want to leave but have no idea what should replace it. You may have several half-open possibilities and keep circling all of them. Or you may simply know that the current version of your career no longer fits.
That’s enough to begin.
You’ll use the first stages of the Refined Ambition Method to get those thoughts out of your head, identify what actually matters and turn all that uncertainty into a direction you can work with.
I'm not planning to quit my job — is this still for me?
Yes.
Refined Ambition isn’t only for women planning a dramatic resignation or complete career reinvention.
Your version of “more” might mean progressing in the role you already enjoy, becoming more visible, stepping into greater leadership, earning more, protecting your capacity or positioning yourself for a future opportunity.
The Method works whether you’re moving up, moving across or eventually moving out.
Then we can plan for that too.
You don’t need to force yourself into an all-or-nothing choice between staying employed forever and handing in your notice next Friday.
We can map what starting your own thing might look like across Now, Next and Future, including what you want to bank, build, learn or test before making a bigger move.
The point is to turn “Maybe I could start something one day” into a path you can assess and begin deliberately.
That’s great! You may already understand yourself well. You may have unpacked your beliefs, strengths or leadership style before. But insight and direction aren’t always the same thing.
Refined Ambition is built to turn what you know about yourself into decisions, positioning and a practical plan.
You won’t be starting again. You’ll be bringing everything you’ve already learned into a structured process that helps the conversation finally go somewhere.
It’s coaching, supported by practical frameworks, strategic thinking and twenty years of real-world leadership experience.
I won’t hand you a generic answer about what role you should take or tell you what to do with your life. You’re the expert in your own experience, values and ambitions.
My role is to help you cut through the noise, ask the questions you may have been avoiding, bring structure to your thinking and challenge you when something doesn’t quite add up.
You bring the context and the decisions. I bring the tools, perspective and support that help you make them well.
How does the application process work?
How does the application process work?
The application takes around 15 minutes, and there’s no payment involved.
You’ll tell me honestly where you’re at, what you want support with and whether there’s anything you’d like answered before deciding.
I read every application myself and reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
If you’re ready and it feels like a strong fit, I’ll send you an invitation to join the next Collective or arrange a Mentorship start time that works.
You don’t need to book a sales call first. And applying doesn’t lock you into anything.
It’s simply the fastest way for us both to work out whether Refined Ambition is the right next step.
If I choose to apply to join The Collective, who else will be in my cohort?
You’ll be joined by a small group of four to six ambitious women at a similar level, each navigating her own version of what comes next.
They won’t necessarily have the same job, industry or goal as you. That’s part of what makes the group useful. You get insight from women who understand the level you’re operating at without everyone bringing an identical perspective.
I review every application myself and build each cohort with the quality and safety of the room in mind.
It’s best to attend live wherever possible because the discussion and group coaching are part of the value. But life happens.
If you know you’ll be away, let me know in advance. You’ll receive the recording and relevant materials, and we’ll make sure you know what to complete before the next session.
You’ll have a vision you’ve articulated, a plan across Now, Next and Future, clearer language for your value and an accountability structure designed to keep you moving after the program ends.
During the final stage, you’ll also identify the people who can support the next chapter, whether that includes a sponsor, mentor, accountability partner or your own personal board of directors.
For some women, continuing with private coaching makes sense. We can discuss that if it would genuinely support what comes next, but there’s no expectation that you’ll need ongoing coaching to keep using The Method.
The goal is for you to finish with the structure, support and next steps already in place.
